Franklin Drawing Services was started in 2000 by Fiona Macleod BEng (Hons) to provide CAD Drawings to Building Services Contractors.
Fiona originally worked as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer at Haden Young both site based & office based. When a client started using CAD in 1991, she was one of the first to be trained, originally using MicroCAD.
Our core business is to provide CAD services to Building Services Contractors. This can range from being the sole provider of services to providing holiday cover or supplementary cover in busy periods. Over the years we have also done drawings for other industries including; control panels, sports pitches, street furniture, signs and steam boilers.
We use the latest version of AutoCAD to convert marked up drawings into professional working or As Installed drawings with company specific standards used if required. We have literally worked from the back of an envelope, but these days drawings are usually provided electronically.
